Timothy Ghattas, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Ghattas is fellowship trained in sports medicine. His practice includes general orthopaedics with specialty training in sports medicine, shoulder surgery, knee surgery, minimally invasive anatomic ACL reconstruction surgery, minimally invasive arthroscopic meniscal repair surgery, cartilage repair and regeneration (microfracture surgery) for both the knee and ankle, minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery, total shoulder arthroplasty, reverse shoulder arthroplasty, dual row rotator cuff repair, upper extremity injuries including the hand, biceps rupture, and triceps ruptures, total knee and hip arthroplasty, shoulder dislocations, shoulder reconstruction and labral repairs.
Dr. Ghattas served as an assistant team physician for the Atlanta Falcons and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, and provided team coverage assistance to Wichita Thunder Minor League Hockey, Wichita Wild Indoor Football and Wichita State University Athletics teams. He was also a sideline physician during the 2015 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game, and the physician for the Final Four in Atlanta, Georgia in 2013.
